Coleman Cooler Hinge
thingiverse
I've made some modifications to the design - I thinned out the section where the mounting screw goes so that I could reuse the original screws while still achieving thread engagement similar to the original hinge. I also created a new bottom-side hinge by extending its length, which solved the problem of it pivoting at the mounting bolts when holding the lid open. This change seemed to stabilize it. As a bonus, I reshaped the model slightly since I was already making edits. The photo shows that I didn't have any hinge pins or bolts available, so I used a piece of 12 gauge insulated copper wire from a scrap Romex cable and bent it into shape. After being in use for several months in Hawaii, there were no issues.
