This design caters specifically to video photography gimbal users who frequently encounter issues with microphone mounts obstructing their low-angle shots. A mounting solution for either a standard mic or mini receiver positioned atop the camera often results in collisions with the gimbal during these scenarios, while also failing to maintain optimal microphone orientation when placed elsewhere on the device. Currently, this design is tailored exclusively for E-mount lenses due to limitations in available lens sizes (such as C-mount and A-mount). The top section of the circular mount features a thinner profile, making it more susceptible to bending without necessitating the removal of attached lenses. A rubber band serves as the sole requirement for this adjustment, with an additional backup hook provided above the cold shoe in case excessive bending leads to accidental breakage. The bottom component aligns seamlessly with the camera's base, ensuring stability even when heavier microphones are mounted, thus preventing unwanted rotation.
