I got a light box to see if that would help with taking pictures of the things I make. Whether it's helping is surely debatable, but that doesn't stop me from wanting to find ways to make things for it.

I already had a small light-panel that I was experimenting with and figured it would be easy enough to design a stand that allowed me to use it with the light box. Since the light box had magnets, I also included the ability to add those which I'm finding to be super handy

The design is fastener-less so I didn't have to fuss around with finding the right hardware. So the whole thing screws together. The opening in the body for the magnets is 15mm x 3mm. I'm using two, 1.5mm thick magnets in mine. The base helps trap the magnets in place once screwed on.

Since I meant for it to attach to the magnetic points of my lightbox, the base was only for stabilization. So if you use it without magnets I'd recommend weighting the base down with something.

Printing Tips

Sliced for PETG and a .4mm nozzle.

Needs supports; the 3MF file has the specific support settings I used.

Light Used

ULANZI VL49 2000mAh LED Video Light
