Cold Gun, Hilsch Tube, Vortex Tube

PLEASE USE THE FAR SUPERIOR DESIGN BY BENKRASNOW: HTTPS://WWW.THINGIVERSE.COM/THING:2965775\nTHIS IS A HILSCH TUBE BASED ON THE SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN ARTICLE FROM 1958, PRESERVED ONLINE AT: HTTP://WWW.VISI.COM/~DARUS/HILSCH/\nMORE INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND AT ANOTHER SITE:HTTP://WWW.MONTAGAR.COM/~PATJ/HILMNU.HTM\nTHIS TUBE DEMONSTRATES HOW COLD GUNS WORK, BUT THEY CAN BE EXPENSIVE FOR SUCH A SIMPLE CONCEPT. THIS PRINT HAS NOT BEEN TESTED AND THE ORIFICE SIZE MAY NEED TO BE ADJUSTED (SORRY FOR THE MESSY TREE). \nUPDATED 9/21/14, SHORTENED VERSION ADDED WHICH MAY WORK BETTER AND WILL TAKE LESS TIME TO PRINT. USING THE LONGER HOT TUBE MAY BE A GOOD IDEA, ALONG WITH ENLARGING THE CONE ON THE HOT TUBE TO CREATE MORE RESTRICTION. ORIFICE AND CONE SIZES STILL NEED TWEAKING FOR BEST RESULTS.\n\nInstructions to Assemble:\nPRINT THIS DESIGN WITH LOW INFILL (LIKE 15-20%) AND ATTACH THE HOT TUBE TO THE SWIRL CHAMBER BY GLUING THEM TOGETHER. AT 100% SCALE, A 1/4" ID HOSSE WILL BE NEEDED, WHILE AT 150% SCALE, A 3/8" ID HOSSE IS REQUIRED.\nTO FUNCTION PROPERLY, HIGH AIR PRESSURE WOULD BE REQUIRED (90-100 PSI), SO WEAR SAFETY GOGGLES AND HANDLE THE TUBE WITH CARE.
