Colchester 2000 (Triumph) Feedbox

This gearbox provides the gear changes for different screw threads and gear modules. The reatios are shown on the plate on the front of the headstock. The gears are a non standard diametrical pitch. There are three pairs of gears with the same diameter that in fact have different tooth counts so the tooth forms are highly modified. This is fitted to both metric and imperial lathes but only aproximates imperial sizes. To have correct imperial pitch the change gears need to be altered. Dave
