The total build time was two weeks, and the approximate scale is HO or 1:87. Three plants are included in this model. When complete, it will weigh approximately seven pounds with dirt inside. Miniature people depict various scenes that define San Francisco's vibrant city. An option to include lights is available. This replica of Coit Tower instantly transports you to one of the world's most picturesque cities, San Francisco. Designed and built to resemble a fire hose, it was donated by Lillie Hitchcock Coit, a wealthy socialite who loved to chase fires in the early days of the city's history. Firehouses did not yet exist at that time. The tower was designed by Arthur Brown Jr and completed on October 8, 1933, just a few years after Lillie's death. I think she would be happy to see such a monument raised in her honor! Read more about Coit Tower at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coit_Tower for interesting information. This model is shown here in HO or 1:87 scale. It is a beta model, and lots could be improved or redesigned.
