Coins or Pendants
thingiverse
Display your plane curves on coin-pendants, an appealing way to showcase Decorative Disks from thing:26973. The coins feature milled edges and curved faces, suitable for key fobs or pendants similar in size to checker pieces. Choose between no hole or two types of holes; a face hole makes it a key fob while an edge hole creates a pendant. Three pairs of STL files are provided for dual-color printers: 1) devil and witch of Agnesi curves on a key fob, 2) a pendant with cusped hypocycloids and epicycloids, and 3) a simple disk without holes. The coins measure 35mm in diameter, 5mm thick, with a 2mm decorative front and back face. OpenSCAD program is included to produce these coins, featuring eight additional plane curve modules for a total of 20 available designs. Choose hole type and decorations by uncommenting or commenting out code sections; run the program twice using difference and intersection commands to create files like coin_less_devil_witch.stl and devil_witch.stl. For best appearance, print with one shell, and for sturdiness, use ample infill.
