Coins for boardgames (Caverna!)
thingiverse
I created some coins for Caverna and other games with a dwarf theme. Each STL file represents only one side of the coin, which usually doesn't print well face-down but its flat sides glue together very easily. I can barely see any seams when they are mixed in with print lines. My own artwork of a dwarf face was made by my wife. The other three coins used modified SVGs from http://game-icons.net/lorc/originals/battle-axe.html, http://game-icons.net/lorc/originals/mountains.html, and http://game-icons.net/lorc/originals/bordered-shield.html. Print settings are as follows: Printer brand is LulzBot, model Mini, raft setting No, support setting No, layer resolution 0.18 mm, infill setting 100%. In notes, the dwarf face detail is 0.5 mm high and I suggest at least three layers for optimal detail in headband or using a lower layer height like 0.16 mm which Lulzbot defaults to fine.
