Coin-weighted tri-bladed boomerang
thingiverse
This redesign altered thing:107862 to include slots accommodating 1 eurocent coins as weights instead of the original holes meant for random fillers. Despite compromising airflow and negatively impacting boomerang flight, the modification remains enjoyable to use. However, the user is not entirely content with the design's limitations, particularly on their Replicator 2. Ideally, a larger version would allow for deeper slot embedment but was unable to be tested. Future attempts may focus on fully enclosed coin designs inserted during printing. The print must occur at a 0.1mm layer height to ensure complete slot coverage. A 3 shell, 15% infill strength configuration is recommended, though 2 shells and 5% infill could suffice.
