Coin Trap Inside Another One

Coin Trap Inside Another One

thingiverse

I've been searching Thingiverse for coin trap designs that embed one trap inside another, but none caught my eye until now. To create this unique design, you'll need a 3D printer capable of pausing in progress, which not all printers support: Start the print process without a raft or supports - although you can add them if needed. When your smaller coin trap reaches two-thirds completion, pause the printer and carefully place a coin at its center. A Canadian or American ten-cent piece fits perfectly within it. Make sure the coin doesn't protrude above the printed area. Continue printing until the smaller coin trap is complete, then pause the print again. Remove this inner object from the print bed and insert it into the larger coin trap, ensuring that the smaller object stays below the outer one's side walls. Resume the print for a final time.
