Coin Squeeze Magic Trick

This is a simple magic trick where a quarter appears to pass through a solid plastic disk. It's easy to set up, requiring just this item and 6 (or any number between 4 and 7) quarters. The trick is based on the Trickmaster Magic Brass Coin Squeeze available on Amazon. SETUP: Place one quarter in the slot of the disk and push it until it reaches the center. This adds weight and improves function, but isn't necessary. Next, insert the plastic disk into either holder. It should only fit one way. Then, place the other holder on top. The holders should fit tightly together, but allow some movement of the disk. Place the remaining quarters in your pocket. You're now ready to perform. PERFORMING THE TRICK: Let the audience examine all parts and explain that the quarter inside the middle disk is an extra layer for the quarters to pass through. Show them that a quarter cannot exit while inside the device, and nothing can pass through the middle disk. Remove the quarters from your pocket and pour some into one side of the device without letting the audience count them. One quarter should become stuck inside. Set the device down with the hidden quarter facing downwards. Place the remaining quarters in the top and let the audience see how many there are. Gently shake the device and tap it. The bottom quarter should fall, appearing to pass through the middle disk. After that, pour the quarters into your hand and the bottom quarter should become stuck again. Set the device down with the hidden quarter facing downwards and repeat as needed.
