Coin Sorter

Landstown High School's Governor's STEM & Technology Academy presents a two-piece coin sorter invention. Created by advising instructor Jennifer Renne, this device efficiently separates dimes, pennies, nickels, and quarters inexpensively. To use it, simply insert one of the accepted coins through the front slot, which will then slide down an internal tunnel to fall through a designated hole into the second part of the sorter. The separated coins are collected in a tray that can be easily removed via an exterior handle. This innovative device greatly reduces time spent on tedious coin sorting, especially for coins with similar colors, making it simple, user-friendly, and time-saving for various tasks.
