Coin Sorter
thingiverse
This is a complete redesign of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2189166 by Pentland_Designs. We encountered issues with some parts breaking too easily, so we redesigned everything for friction-fit instead of snap fit. Note the print settings and attached image for proper assembly details. It took considerable time to ensure everything fits together perfectly, but we're very pleased with the outcome. It works remarkably well! MISC NOTES: All sleeves have false bottoms, holding exactly as many coins as a standard roll would. This means $10 of quarters, $5 of dimes, $2 of nickels, and $0.50 of pennies. The funnel is angled towards the dimes to help them fall into the correct slot and avoid going back into the quarters. Slots in the funnel allow you to grasp either side of coins and guide them down, preventing sideways landings. Although the funnel doesn't fit fully into the connector, there's a hole at the bottom for retrieving it if needed. You can push it out from below. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, and I'll be happy to assist you!
