Coin Holder

Coin Holder

I use these Coin Holders to save holes in my trouser pockets, but the leather versions only last a couple of months so I came up with this design. Printing: 1. Print as two separate prints with the case at 20% infill and the lid at 100% infill (purely to stop the catch snapping off!) 2. In the slicer, rotate the lid 180 degrees about the x-axis so it lays flat Post Print: 1. The hinge pins are a very good fit in their holes so it's a good idea to insert them from the outside and give them a few turns to bed them in before assembly. 2. I have purposely left the catch tag too long so it can be filed to give a good fit/operation. When it's still too long, the lid won't open by hand. Slide a blunt knife under the lid at the front and twist to easily open until the tag is the correct length. 3. A thin layer of self-adhesive felt should be stuck onto the inside of the case and lid to prevent the user (and others) from being driven insane by the rattling!!
