Coiled Klein Bottle

Coiled Klein Bottle

3D printing is pushing boundaries, and one such boundary-pusher is the Klein bottle. By coiling its top, I've created a unique twist on this classic mathematical concept. The outside of this object is also its inside, making it a bottle with no edge and mathematically zero volume. This design is specifically tailored for the Sinterit Lisa competition, where the support material is cleverly utilized as the powder inside the bottle. By simply tipping, tilting, and rotating the bottle, you can easily remove this support material - a feat that would be impossible to achieve with FDM or SLA printers, given their limited accessibility. As an FDM printer user myself, I've faced the challenge of printing a hollow version of the Klein bottle. Unfortunately, the "inside" fills up with support material that's nearly impossible to remove.
