Coil Spring Pen Holder

I stumbled upon an ingenious coil spring style pen holder that I chose to recreate. The design features a subtle spring mechanism, adding an extra layer of complexity to its functionality. When compressed, it requires approximately 4lbs to fully collapse the coils, and with a swift release, they can shoot up into the air, reaching heights of nearly a foot. However, this feature also poses a challenge when printing due to the overhang angle, which may necessitate the use of reinforced supports. I managed to overcome this hurdle by printing at an extremely low layer height of .07mm using my trusty Monoprice Maker Select v2.
