This forthcoming wargaming piece is designed as an alternative to a Warhammer 40K plasma pistol, sized for the 54mm Inquisitor scale. The coil pistol model features no grip, allowing you to sculpt and attach it to your miniature's hand. The design was created in Tinkercad and printed on a Replicator 2. To achieve separation between the coil rings, print muzzle-down without a raft or support at a layer height of 0.1 mm. The initial prototype experienced ring fusion due to potentially high extrusion temperature; PLA plastic at 230°C was used for printing.
