The enormous outer coffin, paired with a smaller inner one, belonged to Queen Ahmose-Merytamun, who was both the sister and wife of Pharaoh Amenhotep I. These coffins were unearthed when her tomb (TT358) was discovered at Deir el-Bahari by Herbert Winlock and the Metropolitan Museum of Art Expedition during the 1929-30 excavation season. The coffins are now on display in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo, Egypt. Constructed from 300 photographs (Canon EOS Rebel T5i), utilizing Metashape 1.6.1 software. Blender 3D 2.8 was employed to recreate the backs of the coffins, as they were displayed lying on their backs and not accessible for photography. The photographs were taken in January 2018.
