Slow drip coffee tower The idea is to brew cold coffee REALLY slowly (like over 4-12 hours) Produces a more mellow brew concentrate, that you then dilute and heat to taste Top shelf(s) holds a seperatory funnel (such as https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081ZP3NQ1) Middle shelf holds a filter (such as https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07814RRW9) Bottle shelf holds a receiver (such as https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Z49C8P6) The file is very do-it-yourself. I did about 30 test prints in order to get all the openings just right for the glass (should take you far fewer; maybe 1-2 for each shelf) I tried to label and describe what is happening at each part, let me know if you have any questions. Other shapes and size filters/funnels/receivers will work, you'll just have to adjust the shelf hole shapes. Seperatory funnel and receiver should be the same volume, filter should be about 1/10 of that volume, maybe a bit larger. I saved values for 500mL and 2L sizes (17oz and 68oz) Shelves are attached to each other via 4 rods (at 4 of the 6 corners). I used 3/8" brass rods, other materials should work fine (steel, wood, etc. I wouldn't recommend plastic). 2L size needed about 3 feet lengths, 500mL size needed about 2 feet lengths. (such as https://www.grainger.com/product/GRAINGER-APPROVED-Rod-2ABK4). For me: 4 x 6' rods gave 4 x 2' and 4 x 3' rods for the 2 towers, with enough extra to get exact height desired. For you, 4 x 3' rods should work (https://www.grainger.com/product/GRAINGER-APPROVED-Rod-2AUJ7) Final assembly is easiest with an assistant. I used some 5-minute epoxy in each rod/shelf joint before tightening the screw (just to be sure it didn't slide). A set screw approach might be better? Hard to say. I printed 2L tower first: I printed the bottom shelf with 0.4mm layer height, 3-layer walls/top/bottom, and 100% infill (to lower the center of mass) and higher shelves I reduced infill to 30%. Material was wood filled PLA. All seemed very sturdy. Second tower (500mL), I printed all shelves with 0.3mm layer height, 3-layer walls/top/bottom, and 20% infill, material was regular PLA. It still seemed like it would hold just fine (though this one would only have to hold 1/4 the weight). No supports or brim was needed
