Coffee Tamper 52mm

A simple coffee tamper in 52mm fits perfectly for my espresso machine. You can easily adjust the width of this object to suit your needs. It's available as an OpenSCAD file, making it easy to modify. This coffee tamper feels great in the palm of your hand and allows you to apply just the right amount of pressure to get the perfect tamp every time. The "coffee contact" area on the foot of the part is flat and closed, which means no pesky coffee grounds will get stuck inside. I've been using my tamper for three weeks now, and it still looks brand new. This was actually one of the first useful items I printed with my 3D printer. The wiggles you see on the part are a result of a wonky z-Motor, but don't worry - they're completely normal.
