Coffee Table Bracket

Coffee Table Bracket

thingiverse

First shared print here, designed it a few days ago now to secure the legs of our coffee table in the living room and thought it might be useful to others too. Inspired by some practical prints lately and wanting old school to meet new school, I put these together for our coffee table in the living room. The table itself is about 50 years old and was built by my late grandfather. He was always a skilled handyman and probably would have been amazed at the 3D printing scene. The table had an unfortunate accident a few days ago when it was bumped hard from the side by some visiting family, causing the table to fall over. I didn't want to throw out part of my grandfather's work, so we reglued and nailed the legs into place and, to prevent another accident in a few years time, I designed these brackets to support all 4 corners. Finally, for those curious about the file name, I grew up calling my grandfather Nunu and my grandmother Nuna. I was told later that those were the Maltese names for my grandparents. Cue "The more you know" star.
