Coffee Table Ala-Twist
myminifactory
Simple table that could feature glass or printed plates in a minimalist design. A straightforward hole makes it possible to use as a large end table. The simplicity was the primary inspiration, with the goal of filling a spacious area on both sides of my couch. The examples shown are printed at 1/10 scale and have no supports, minimal infill, and a 4mm wall thickness. They were printed at a layer height of .2mm. The entire process took 5 hours and 12 minutes to complete. The upper glass is 36 inches by 36 inches by .5 inches thick, while the lower glass measures 29.31 inches by 29.31 inches by .5 inches thick (I apologize for the unusual size). According to Slic3r, the table would be printed in ABS with a wall thickness of .2 inches and zero infill, resulting in a weight of approximately 47 pounds. The print time depends on the printer's capabilities, as it is too large for my Rostock Max V3. This design was created specifically for a contest.
