Coffee Roaster Basket Holder (Behmor1600)
thingiverse
I recently took up making chocolate at home and discovered that my Behmor 1600 roaster comes with a round basket featuring protruding ends, requiring me to use one hand to hold it while attempting to load beans into the other, quite absurd. To resolve this issue, I created a simple stand to support the roast basket, allowing me to utilize both hands for loading. In my opinion, such a stand should be included as a standard accessory with every roaster purchase; unfortunately, it's not provided by the manufacturer, so I've decided to share my DIY solution with fellow chocolate enthusiasts who may find this helpful. This design is remarkably straightforward and adaptable, making it suitable for most print settings. After prolonged use, I noticed that the stand could benefit from additional "wings" to enhance stability in its uprights, as they tend to warp when exposed to heat. However, I've incorporated stiffeners into the updated model, significantly increasing its strength and resistance to heat deformation. I've also converted the design file from inches to millimeters for greater precision and added a graphic illustration for better visual understanding.
