Coffee Mill Hatch - Customizable

<p>After solving my <a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/27237-portafilter-funnel">portafilter-dropping-coffee issue</a>, it was time to get a nice upgrade of my drooling coffee mill.</p> <p>Therefore here comes a hatch!</p> <p>You can modify the model to match your mill by using the .scad file provided. Just download <a href="https://www.openscad.org/">openSCAD</a>, load the file, generate a preview (F5) and tweak the parameters via "Customizer" view. When you are satisfied with the preview, render it (F6) and export .stl.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>Important:</p> <ul> <li>Please use this part carefully to not harm your mill. I don't take any responsibility if you ruin your mill by using this part.</li> <li>You should make sure to open the hatch when grinding coffee.<br/> Actually I forgot to do that several times (guess I was still to sleepy though...) which ended up in a clogged mill very fast. Not hard to solve, but annoying anyway ;-)</li> </ul> <p>Notes:</p> <ul> <li>I printed this peace like it is provided with .3mf/.stl file. In this case, I didn't used any support.</li> <li>In case you play around with given "angle" parameter, you might need to use support.</li> <li>If you have trouble with getting a good printing model by your parameter set, please let me know. Maybe I can improve the model to make it work :)</li> </ul> <p>What can be improved:</p> <ul> <li>Right now, the output is shaped "interesting". It's working pretty well, but if you play with parameters, it gets interesting...<br/> Therefore, providing a round output form would be good</li> <li>Edge cut providing coffee flow near hatch bottom can be improved. Depending on parameters it could be done better.</li> <li>Well, it would be cool to add some color, like:<ul> <li>Hatch closed. Signals red. Open hatch before using mill!</li> <li>Hatch open. Signals greed. Mill ready for milling!</li> </ul> </li> <li>Add mechanic to open hatch when staring mill and being closed when not grinding.</li> </ul>
