When the grinder discharges directly into this container, fine coffee dust covers your benchtop. With this lid, all dust remains contained. The flexible rubber spout on the grinder fits snugly inside the lid's spout. After grinding is complete, tap the grinder and container firmly to ensure that no coffee lingers in the spout or container. This step has three main benefits: it removes any remaining coffee from the spout, compacts the coffee inside the container, and clears dust from the lid and upper walls.
