COFFEE GRIND SIFTER

Coffee grind sifter If you want to make even greater coffee, you may want to thing about not only the seize of your coffee grind, but also of it size distribution. It´s clear, that tiny coffee dust particle will be extracted quicker in hot water, then a 1mm size grind. But depending on your grinder, your grind size will always vary. But don´t worry, sifting your coffee grind though 1mm and 0,4mm sieve in this sifter will just take a minute (or the time you wait for your water to boil). Simply put the three sieves together, put your grind in the top sieve, close it and shake it vigorously, to separate the particles. Then either regrind your what´s left in the top sieve (oversieve) or use it together with the grinds from the second sieve. What´s left in the third sieve (undersieve) is best used for an espresso. To achieve better sifting, use small balls or rocks in each sieve to help the grind move around. You will need to buy or find a steel or plastic sieve (80mm diameter). I might desin a 3D printed sieve later, but it might be challenging to print it.
