Coffee French Press Lid for GSI or REI Glacier Stainless Insulated

This is a two-part file intended to be assembled as an alternative to the Glacier brand Stainless steel insulated coffee french press. Most French presses I've owned have had issues with glass breakage, but this one's plastic top broke instead, despite being made of metal. The file measures in millimeters and was created using Blender3D. To assemble it correctly, ensure that the arrow on the top piece aligns with the pour spout opening. A small undersized hole is present at the center for easy drilling out to match the press's stem. This design allows for two-part printing without support material needed. I successfully printed it in black PLA using the CURA lulzbot Taz 5 profile for high-quality results. Print Settings: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 5 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.14 Infill: 20% Design Process: I designed this model using Blender 3D and digital calipers, printing one version before making modifications. Initially, I forgot to include the small arrow and the line indicating how the pour spout and locking tabs align. To improve usability, I added a flat section at the lid's widest part for easier grip.
