Coffee cup thermal sleeve and drip guard collection
prusaprinters
full length thermal sleeve for paper coffee cups. These perform a number of tasks. They keep your coffee warm for longer than the paper collars that only cover 20 percent of the cup. they insulate you from the hot paper cup, and they will catch the spills that happen often when the lid and the seam dont make a good seal. ( mostly starbucks cups are guilty ) I find myself walking from my car to the office, holding my cup away at arms length so I dont drip on my shoes as the coffee makes its way between the cup and the lid. Im still working on trying to make a universal sleeve that will fit both the 12 and 16 oz dixie cups I use as well as a 20 oz Starbucks cup. The exterior is quite boring. Function over style for now. Im limited in the size I can print on a Monoprice Mini, each of the sleeves is roughly 100mm give or take a few mm depending on the model. this is a work in progress. publishing what I have, but I plan to adjust these some. 16oz Dixie. fit is great. needs to be thicker and rim chamfer exaggerated more to catch drips better. 20oz Starbucks. bottom needs to be dropped a few mm to hold snug. Starbucks Victory Model. 20 oz. reverse piping and a 2mm drop in the base to allow the cup to sit deeper. Still sits too low for me to be satisfied, but I work within the limits of my printer. Dixie12.SB20victory is the closest I might get to a universal design. a 12 oz Dixie cup fits well with a little play in the base, but it covers like I want it to. it fits a Starbucks 20 (Venti) perfectly, although it sits way too low to truly be perfect.
