If you aren't using the espresso portafilter attachment, the grinds scatter everywhere. This clever attachment replaces the espresso attachment with a streamlined chute to grind directly into a glass cup without making a mess. I'm actually using the glass receiver from an old Bodum coffee grinder, but a drinking glass works just as well. A glass receiver drastically reduces static electricity that makes grinding such a messy task. Miraculously, the grinds don't seem to cling to the PLA chute at all.
