Coffee Brew Time Tag

Coffee Brew Time Tag

thingiverse

Simple functional tag designed to be hung on airpots or similar commercial coffee makers that make it easy to set what time the coffee was last brewed, in 15 minute increments. These were printed in a selection of colors that complemented the company colors and then the numbers were highlighted with contrasting paint for enhanced readability. The stacks of dials are held together with a 12mm M3 screw with a washer under the screw head and a self-locking nut that fits in the boss at the back of the base. The holes in the center will be snug. Overdrive the screw without adding the nut to ream out the holes to be exactly the right diameter. I did this to avoid play in the final assembly. The screw should be tightened enough that the dials are fairly easy to move, but won't spin freely. After they've been used for awhile, the screw will need to be slightly tightened again. after initial break-in, it shouldn't need much adjustment if the lock nut holds properly.
