Coffee Bit adapter for Hand Grinder
thingiverse
After witnessing the significant time it takes to grind coffee by hand and destroying several of my existing hexagon-to-pentagon adapters, I redesigned this adapter to utilize a cordless screwdriver with the Javapresse manual coffee grinder. This modification adapts the hex socket to a pentagon socket and eliminates the need for another kitchen appliance. To ensure optimal print quality, I orient the adapter horizontally to prevent vertical delamination. I use 100% infill to add strength, a support angle of 60 degrees to minimize material usage, and a support density of 20% to maintain structural integrity. This design has been functioning effectively so far in modified PLA++ from Breathe-3DP, which I received as part of a MakerBox sample. However, it's possible to use even stronger materials if desired.
