Codo de múltiple rotación
thingiverse
This project addresses the case of individuals with transhumeral amputation, specifically seeking a viable solution to improve mobility. To achieve this, a three-degree-of-freedom prosthetic elbow is being developed for adults with transhumeral amputation. With these three degrees of freedom, a wide circular trajectory and the ability to execute supination and pronation of the arm can be achieved. The mechanism consists of motors and actuators that simulate human elbow behavior and flexibility. When executing movements, knowledge of position is required. Electronic devices measuring rotation angles on actuators will be used for this purpose. This solution serves as a foundation for adapting other prosthetic elements and can be modified to attach to a predefined prosthetic model.
