thingiverse
This is an innovative omniwheel crafted by the CodeRunners, a RoboCup Junior Soccer team. The omniwheel empowers our robots to move in any direction without adjusting their orientation. The wheels deliver superior traction when driving on light carpet compared to many other omnidirectional wheel designs, which is essential for the RoboCup Junior Soccer competition. To manufacture one wheel, you will need to 3D print the following plastic components: 2xomniwheelHub final.stl (produces 2 wheel hubs) 12xMiniwheels.stl (manufactures 12 small wheels) Additionally, you will require the following hardware for each wheel: 1) 4x M3x12mm screws or 4x 4-40x1/2 inch screws 2) 12x 2mm diameter 8mm long steel dowel pins: https://www.mcmaster.com/#91595a023/=xr69lf 3) 12x Rubber O-Rings - 3mm wide, 8mm inner diameter: https://www.mcmaster.com/#9262k547/=scp252 4) 1x Aluminum mounting hub: https://www.pololu.com/product/1078 (Choose M3 or 4-40, choose 3mm, 4mm, or 5mm depending on your motor shaft)
