A Custom Grid Layout for Codenames Pictures Simplifies Game Nights. The layout ensures a neat 5 x 4 grid formation, making it effortless to arrange the cards in an appealing manner. Strategically placed cutouts and holes facilitate easy removal or flipping of the cards without any hassle. This design is particularly useful when playing with sleeved cards. If you already own the 5 x 5 expansion pack or plan to acquire one, consider using a different layout available on Thingiverse under ID: 3460724 for more space-efficient arrangements. The layout comes in two versions tailored to suit various laser cutting machines: 1. The 'Split' design is divided into three segments to accommodate smaller cutting areas of 600 x 300 mm. 2. The 'Full' version is designed for larger cutting areas, offering a more comprehensive grid setup. To construct the layout, I used 3 mm MDF material and glued the components together using ordinary wood glue. Remember to follow these guidelines when cutting the design: - Red lines should be completely cut through. - Blue lines should be partially cut about halfway. - Green lines should be engraved for a precise finish.
