I crafted a bespoke codenames container that simplifies managing existing cards with ease. If I had to redo it, I might design the lid to pop open rather than hinge; unfortunately, it keeps falling down while the box is in use. I've included the .scad source code for anyone interested in customizing further. The photos demonstrate how the timer fits snugly and there's a slot to hold the "map" card securely.
