Cocktail Sticks
thingiverse
If you've just completed your homemade 3D printer, whether it's a reprap or repstrap, you might be feeling parched! I remember being thirsty after mine was done too. To start, treat yourself to a drink while fine-tuning your printer for top-notch prints. To begin, print a batch of cocktail sticks using PLA plastic – this material is non-toxic. Once you're satisfied with their quality, move on to the next step! For your refreshing beverage, gather these ingredients: aged rum (at least 3 years old, but 7 works well too), fresh mint leaves, lime slices, cane sugar, and ice cubes. Arrange the lime slices in a glass, add some sugar, and mash the limes slightly with a spoon to release their juice. Next, clap your hands (with mint leaves between them) to release the oils in the mint, then add the mint leaves to the glass. Fill the glass with ice cubes and top it off with rum – if you prefer a milder drink, mix in some soda. Stir your concoction with one of your freshly printed cocktail sticks and enjoy! P.S. The cocktail sticks printed smoothly at 0.5mm nozzle size. They might even look more intricate when printed with a 0.35mm nozzle. Happy sipping and printing!
