I was super anxious to bring this creature to life because Cockatrices are pretty rare in the world of art. They're basically a unique blend of chicken and dragon, which can be a bit jarring at first. I had to sift through loads of reference photos that just didn't resonate with me, either their design or overall vibe was off. But after putting in some serious time and effort, I started to really connect with what I was creating. Now, I'm convinced this is one of my strongest models yet.
