Cochlear Resound Beltone Multimic + MW600 + Anytone PTT Bluetooth Combo for Cochlear implant / Hearing aid
thingiverse
Since I'm hard of hearing, I've had to find creative ways to listen in on my HAM radio without relying on the speaker. The audio feed has to be direct and clear, cutting through all the background noise. Wires are out of the question, as they'd only add more interference to the mix. That's why I was thrilled when I got my hands on the Anytone AT878+ with Bluetooth. I knew right away that this device would be the perfect solution for my problem. The Cochlear/Beltone/GN Resound Multi Mic is a game-changer, and when paired with the Sony Ericsson MW600 Bluetooth "headset," it's a match made in heaven. The MW600 connects to my radio via Bluetooth, while the Multi Mic has a line-in input that streams the audio straight into my hearing aid/cochlear implant setup. After experimenting with different configurations, I found this setup to be the most ideal – I can access all the buttons and charge ports without any hassle. As an added bonus, the included clip on the Bluetooth PTT attaches seamlessly to my 5.11 Moab 6 EDC Bag's molle webbing, keeping everything within arm's reach whenever I'm on the move or working from home. I'm already working on an updated model that will integrate the remote control directly into my cochlear implant, eliminating the need for a cumbersome phone app. This project may seem straightforward to some, but I hope it can inspire others or serve as a building block for future projects.
