At long last, here's the Cobra SNAKE battle suit I've been working on. I used a toy borrowed from a friend and a pair of 6-inch calipers to create this 3D file. As usual, the file is modeled at the size of the actual toy but is intended to be printed at 25%. If you print it larger or smaller, it may have too much or too little detail. The toy came with four weapons: a missile, claw hand, machine gun, and flame thrower. I've included eight different files for the arms so you can choose the weapon configuration you want. I could have made the arms swappable, but PLA is so inexpensive that it doesn't matter to me; I just made more of them. Also note that the arms and legs are glued in place, allowing for some variation in poses. It looks a little more natural if both legs are not pointing straight ahead. You can also modify the shoulder attachment point with a file or sandpaper to point the arm in or out a bit. I want to express my deepest respect and gratitude to past and present members of our Armed Forces, who are truly the "Real American Heroes". Your sacrifice allows people like me to live in peace, freedom, and make silly little toys like these. A big thank you also goes to R.S. for loaning me the toy, which was a real challenge to model without having it in my hands. This file is free to download and can be used for personal use only.
