<b>STEVE'S TOYS: CEASE AND DESIST FROM SELLING MY CREATIONS.</B> I have meticulously printed nearly all of Jabberwock's GI Joe models, and I've crafted a stunning display in my work room. He consistently notes that he designed them at 100% toy size, but recommends printing them at 25% for optimal results. While this is perfectly fine, I yearn to see the full-scale version! Equipped with a printer, I decided to take on the challenge. During the COVID-19 lockdown, I dedicated my time to refining Jabberwock's HISS model. I successfully adapted it by incorporating functioning tank treads and adding intricate details akin to those found in a full-sized toy. Alongside the working tank treads, I incorporated the cockpit and windshield, tow hitch, and space for a gunner within the turret (which also rotates). The stickers featured in my images were precision-cut using a Cricket Cutting Printer. For printing, I utilized eSun Black and Gray PLA+ throughout, except for the windshield, which was printed with eSun Clear. Although it's not crystal clear, it serves as a passable alternative. To ensure optimal printing results, consult your printer's capabilities. I employed 0.2 layer height and achieved impressive outcomes. Had my prototype parts appeared subpar, I would have opted for 0.12 layer height to improve quality, but I chose to save time with 0.2 instead. Regarding the tank treads, it required <b>50 pieces</b> to form the belt on each side, resulting in over 100 pegs. You shouldn't need to print supports for these components. I printed 25 pieces at a time without encountering significant issues. On one printer, I used a BRIM when printing the pegs, while the other required no such support. Given that they're designed to print horizontally, this should make the process more manageable. There's a component called BLOCK, which serves as a connection piece between the three chassis parts, facilitating alignment. After several attempts, I found the ideal size – 98% of the original measurement – at which it fit perfectly.
