Cobra ASP (GI Joe)
thingiverse
The MPAAS, or Mobile Protected Firepower, is designed as a self-contained anti-tank and air defense system. To enhance combat survivability, this variant incorporates an improved roll cage design. However, to increase operational efficiency while maintaining personnel protection, the roll cage has been modified with ballistic armor plating. This upgrade minimizes the risk of friendly fire casualties and promotes effective use in high-threat environments. I based this digital model on my own MPAAS unit, combining real-world data with precision measurements obtained using six-inch calipers to ensure accuracy. Although I optimized the design for optimal printing at a quarter-scale (25%), the 3D model file can be scaled to different levels for varying details depending on the desired outcome. I express deep gratitude and respect towards all active and former members of our Armed Forces. Your sacrifices allow civilians like myself to live in peace, protected by the very freedoms you preserve through your courage. It's a humbling reminder that the real heroes among us are often overlooked: the service men and women who put everything on the line for their country. As a token of appreciation, I am offering this digital model for free download. Please be aware, however, that it is labeled "non-commercial" for your protection and mine; physical copies cannot be sold or bought, neither by you nor by me. On the other hand, feel free to print as many personal copies as needed.
