Cobblestone road for Tabletop miniatures
myminifactory
I didn't splurge on GF9 roads for my tabletop, so I created this instead. The design repeats itself, making it easy to join multiple prints together side by side or end to end for a seamless layout. Initially, I had designed the pattern at 70 mm x 210 mm, but I scaled it down to 125x40 to fit smaller scale miniatures perfectly. Please disregard the cipher in the photo - he's just posing for the camera and is only half-painted. He's about 50% done. When printing these tiles, be mindful of the material choice to prevent warping and ensure smooth prints at .1mm layer height. Overextrusion can cause upper layers to be wider than lower ones, preventing perfect mating between tiles. My revised design, uploaded here, features a smoother surface that can be easily sanded with a soft block for painting. However, if you're able to print at .1mm, three coats of primer will eliminate layer lines completely. Drybrushing is possible, but results may vary.
