Cobblebot Vanguard Remix on Steroids

###_THIS IS WORK IN PROGRESS _ These files serve as a placeholder for the output of work being done in this remix. ###Standing on the Shoulders of a Giant It's been years since Tinkering_On_Steroids created truly excellent printer parts to transform the Cobblebot Vanguard into an awesome printer after Cobblebot (now defunct) dropped the ball with delivery of their Kickstarter for the Vanguard printer. Now, I am revisiting that excellent work and making some changes. For those following this project, the modified parts are green, while the original parts designed by Tinkering_On_Steroids are orange. One exception is the 'zslider_left30.stl' and 'zslider_right30.stl' on the original printer, which I am printing flipped so that the left is on the right and the right is on the left. There's a good reason for this, and it'll become obvious by the time these parts are complete. ###Improvements 1. Adding MGN12 rails for smoother linear motion on the Y- and X- axes 2. Changing the orientation of the Y-Axis rails to gain ~20mm extra Z height 3. Using one stepper motor to control both Z-axis screws for more reliability 4. Using 20-tooth Z-axis motor pulley and 40-tooth pulley on screws for better Z-axis resolution (60 micron for fine prints, 120 micron for standard prints) instead of the original printer's 100 micron precision 5. Enabling the use of Titan Aero direct drive extruders ###Ready for Primetime These parts are ready to be printed, but they might undergo modifications in the future. * Y-axis endstop switch holder * Y-axis connectors ###Additional Parts These are the additional parts needed to complete this version of the printer. Cobblebot backers shouldn't be surprised that they'll need to spend extra money to get their printer working. * (2) MGN12 rails and sliders for the Y-axis * (1) MGN12 rail and slider for the X-axis (possibly) * (1) 20-tooth pulley for the Z-axis motor * (2) 40-tooth pulleys for the Z-axis screws * More to come ###Note This is a work in progress, and parts will change before completion. Currently using Sketchup for modifications, as that's what Tinkering_On_Steroids used, but I cannot guarantee that the final parts will remain in that app—the free web version has limited tools available, and precision isn't as tight as other apps.
