CobbleBot Horizontal X Axis Mod

Please check out version 3: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1234567 Version 1.0 I'm shifting the X Axis on my CobbleBot from a vertical alignment to a horizontal one, relocating the X stepper motor and idler pulley above the gantry instead of beside it. This should provide a much more secure connection and prevent the belt tension from twisting the stepper and idler. Be aware that if you trim your GT2 timing belt provided by CobbleBot to fit their design, you'll need a new one. If not trimmed, this model should work as expected. The X Axis Stepper Mount has slots for aligning T nuts with 2020 V slot rails, simplifying attachment. Two rear mounts support attaching a 40mm fan for cooling the stepper. Similarly, The X Axis Idler Mount features slots that will fit down into 2020 V slot rails and assist in aligning T nuts for simpler installation. It may be feasible to use an idler pulley from OpenBuild, but please verify dimensions beforehand (http://openbuildspartstore.com/smooth-idler-pulley-wheel/). Currently waiting on the order I placed. The X Axis Belt Y Attachment has slots for T nut alignment in 2020 V slot rails and attachment holes on all three sides. Sides lacking notches enable mounting without taking apart the entire gantry. Future updates: I plan to reduce the Idler Mount's sides so it's closer to the rail. Model tolerances will be adjusted as my printer achieves greater accuracy. The present configuration has slightly oversized holes due to challenges in achieving precision on the X axis. The attached SketchUp files allow you to make necessary modifications and achieve perfect alignment.
