COB Leds for FPV quads
thingiverse
Human: An universal LED strip mounts directly on the pack. No need to solder strips onto arms.\r\nWith the smallest version (2 x 24 COB LEDs) offering better visibility than any other arm-mounted configuration. For a super bright setup, choose from 36 or 48 versions.\r\nFor each flight, grab a fresh pack and a set of desired colors.\r\n\r\nMounting is hassle-free; no straps need to be threaded through loops. \r\nBefore tightening the final strap, slide each one from both sides, then secure.\r\nTested in this configuration, they require significant impact to fail.\r\nEven if damaged, LEDs are easier to replace or repair than arm-mounted lights.\r\nPowered directly from the balancer plug, protecting it from cuts during crashes.\r\nAffordable at approximately $2 per color.\r\n\r\nOne drawback: they must be powered by 12V. Either step down the voltage or use the first and fourth pin in the balancing plug - we run ours that way. However, low power consumption won't cause packs to become unbalanced. The charger will simply level all cells back up.\r\n\r\nTry this setup for yourself and experience reduced LED maintenance.\r\n\r\nA set of 6 colors (red, green, yellow, pink, blue, white) is available for purchase here: https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Promotion-1Pcs-White-T10-24-Smd-Cob-Led-Panel-Car-Auto-Interior-Reading-Map-Lamp-Bulb/1946246_32706864920.html
