Coaxial adapter for DJI Flamewheel or clones
thingiverse
I've always been eager to construct a Y6 racing drone, but with a much larger setup than typical 5-inch propellers provide. To get started, you'll need to shorten the stock landing gear on the DJI arms (or clones). This modification can be used to build a Y6, X8, or even an X12. This particular project is geared towards my 500-class racing drones, but it can also be adapted for adding motors and payload to a regular camera drone. To assemble this setup, you'll require longer screws to attach the top motors, as well as long screws and nuts. I've found that M3x10 works perfectly for the top motor, while M3x6 is ideal for the bottom motor. For assembly, M3x12 and M3 nylock nuts are a must-have.
