thingiverse
This is an Accessible Coax Wall Outlet Box designed to accommodate both SO239 and N-Type socket panels. IT IS MADE TO EASILY ATTACH RADIO ANTENNAS AS SHOWN HERE http://g1ybb.uk/custom-coax-connector-exterior-wall-mount-box/. THE DESIGN REQUIRED NO ADDITIONAL SUPPORT DURING PRINTING. It consists of 4 parts printed in ABS using an Ultimaker 2 with standard ABS settings, including a heated bed at 90°C. Printing was done without raft or brim assistance from CubeStick for 2nd Gen printers. To assemble the parts, PVC cement was used to weld them together. Printer Settings: Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.15mm Infill: 100% Notes: I successfully used Cube glue stick to prevent part warping and ensure a smooth print. Assembly involves using PVC cement, with some part fitting that may be necessary depending on the printer model, but can usually be done by simply filing down minor issues. Register pins were made from 2.85mm filament to align the wall plate parts properly. The cover rim fits into the recess in the lid, and adjustments are needed to secure it. Designing this Coax Wall Box was achieved using Rhino 3D software with a focus on making easy prints that don't require supports or excessive post-processing work.
