I printed this in PLA, and it 'works' but we'll see for how long. maybe try something stronger like ABS? Use lots of perimeter shells. 3 at least. i used 8.

you'll need to print
base.stl x 1
bough.stl x 3
small-bough x 3
branch x 3

you'll need to buy:

1x: 1.5" x ~7' rod for the center
2x: 1.25" x 4' rod for the 'boughs' and feet
1x: .875" x 4' rod for the 'branches'

i cut the feet in 12" segments for the legs, and 8" segments for the boughs.

The branches i cut in ~5" segments, cutting some a bit longer, and some a bit shorter.

you will want to make sure the center rod extends past the base joint and connects with the floor even with the feet - so it bears most of the weight, and the feet are simply stabilization.
