I printed this in PLA, and it works for now but we'll see how long that lasts. Maybe try something stronger like ABS? Using lots of perimeter shells is a good idea. I used 3 at least. You will need to print: base.stl x 1 bough.stl x 3 small-bough stl x 3 branch stl x 3 You'll have to buy: 1x: 1.5" x ~7' rod for the center 2x: 1.25" x 4' rods for the boughs and feet 1x: 1" x 4' rod for the branches (I found these to be ~0.897" in reality) The feet I cut into 12" segments for the legs, and 8" segments for the boughs. The branches I cut into ~5" segments, cutting some a bit longer, and some a bit shorter. You will want to make sure the center rod extends past the base joint and connects with the floor even with the feet - so it bears most of the weight, and the feet are simply stabilizing.
