The family boasted a notable member, Giovanni Pesaro, who held the revered title of 103rd Doge of Venice and commissioned the renowned Renaissance master Titian to create the magnificent Pesaro Madonna in 1518 for the iconic Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari in Venice.
